I bought the Bushnell Pro 1600 Slope Edition Rangefinder for my wife as a Christmas Present

We vacationed in Hilton Head the week after Christmas and she had an opportunity to use it. She was too thrilled with its efficiency. It was accurate, it measured distance rather quickly, and it enabled her to be selective about clubs. Besides, the excitement she exuded made playing golf with her during the week a helluva lot more fun. Personally, I found them to be much easier to use than the rangefinder I currently have. It's almost like having a GPS at your fingertips. This is an excellent rangefinder, easy to use and very accurate. I am a competitive golfer so you must have the tournament edition. The rangefinder with the slope is illegal for tournament play. After using the rangefinder you realize the distance you really hit each club and not what you thought you did and this helps you lower scores. I find it especially helpful for the 75 yard in shots. Now I have more confidence in how far I hit a full or half wedge etc. Also this device can be used on any course you play. There is no yearly fee or downloading of courses. Just always keep an extra battery with you because once you get used to having it you won't want to be without it.
